The Gift of Clean Water

Did you know that 884 million people in the world today lack access to safe drinking water? 5000 children under the age of 5 die every day due to water related diseases.  How can you help?  Give to the Christmas Eve offering that will support two water ministries that are taking strategic steps to deal with this worldwide water crisis.  Go to www.water.cc, and www.watermissions.org to see how Living Water International and Water Missions International are taking clean water, and the message of living water, to the world.

Want to do more than give money?  You could actually go drill a water well, or at least get prepared to go on a well drilling outreach trip.  We will have a Well Drilling Training on Saturday, December 10, from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, in Building 4 at the Banks Mill campus.  Please RSVP by December 7 to Kristi@cedarcreekchurch.net so we can have lunch and supplies prepared for you.

You can bring hope to someone today through the gift of clean water.

Finding Your Place

What a great wrap up to our Starting Point series.  A special thanks to our creative team for giving us a great visual reminder of how God can take the torn and broken pieces of our lives that are surrendered to Him, and fit them beautifully into His amazing story.  My prayer and passion is that we continue to be a church that shows our community and the world the picture of God’s redemptive story through the way we live our lives.  Stay in the story!

 God Bless,

 Phillip

Starting Point Wrap Up

This weekend we’ll finish our journey through God’s story…the Bible.  I hope you will be able to be here for this final week, as we see what it looks like when we connect with God’s story and with each other.  As I shared with you two and a half months ago, when we started this journey, the more you know God’s story the easier it becomes to find your place in it.  I hope this series and study has helped you not only have a better understanding of the Bible, but even more important, that you have taken a next step in being a part of God’s continuing story.

 God Bless,

 Phillip
