The Disciple Now Student Retreat is a local weekend retreat where students in grades 6-12 gather for worship and experience small group discipleship while staying in local homes. The whole church and community can help our students with the Disciple Now Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, January 28, by collecting items for Christ Central Aiken. The items needed and instructions are given below.
DiscipleNOW Student Scavenger Hunt
As a part of DiscipleNOW weekend, on January 28th students at all campuses of Cedar Creek Church will be taking part in a scavenger hunt to benefit Christ
Central in Aiken and the surrounding areas. Students will be collecting the following items from 1:30pm – 4:00pm that afternoon. If students do not visit your
house, we ask that you bring your items to Cedar Creek Church – Banks Mill Campus between 5:00pm and 6:00pm on that Saturday.
On The Ridge Campus Only: Please bring any items students do not pick up to your campus on Sunday morning.
Please consider having items available for the students to help them with their hunt and to partner with Christ Central as they minister to our community.
The following items are needed:
Electric Heaters (New or Used)
Laundry Detergent
Toilet Paper
Diapers
Baby Wipes
Blankets or Comforters
Deodorant
Canned Meats (Spaghetti-Os, sauce, tuna, etc.)
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Pasta (of any type)
Rice
Cleaning Supplies (bleach, cleanser, etc.)
Cereal
Towels and Washcloths (New or Used)
Bath Soap
Sheets (New or Used)
Pots and Pans (New or Used)
Extra Large Sized Clothing (2xl and up)
Coats (any size) (New or Used)
Monetary Donations will be used to purchase items.
