Help SERVE those who Protect and Serve

We have the opportunity to serve Aiken Public Safety officers and other law enforcement personnel on the day of the funeral for Sandy Rogers by providing and serving food to them on Wednesday, February 1, at the Aiken Public Safety office, 251 Laurens St. NW.

You may help by bringing food, or by taking a shift to receive and serve the food between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm at the Aiken Public Safety office.  If you are able to bring food, just take it to the Aiken Public Safety office between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on Wednesday.

If you are able to serve at least an hour on Wednesday between 9 am and 5 pm, then contact Teresa Redd as soon as possible at (803) 649-3096, ext. 133, or Teresa@cedarcreekchurch.net.  If you are delivering food or serving, please enter the public safety offices through the fire truck bays in the back.

This is a great way to show the love of Jesus to our law enforcement personnel!

Here. We. Go!

Hey West Campus Family! This is one of THE MOST EXCITING WEEKS EVER in the life of our campus and Cedar Creek Church. Last Sunday we held our last gathering and worship service at the USCA Convocation Center and this coming Sunday, January 15, we will hold our VERY FIRST service in our new facility co-located with the Aiken Family Y located at 621 Trolley Line Road. (Approximately one mile from the Convocation Center)

Here’s some info you need to know for this week. We will be in need of help Thursday night, Friday, Saturday & Sunday morning. As of today our schedule for the week is as follows:

Thursday, January 12, 6:30 pm, meet at the Convocation Center loading dock to load out all of our equipment from the storage room and transport it to the new building. Unfortunately, there will not be any childcare available.

· We will load what we can into the new building. Some equipment may need to stay on the truck if certain rooms aren’t ready.

Friday, January 13, 9:00 am, meet at the new building to help clean up and set up our rooms and space. We hope to be finished by 12:00 noon. Unfortunately, there will not be any childcare available.

Saturday, January 14, 9:00 am, meet at the Convocation Center. Grand Opening celebration will be starting at 10:00 am and continuing to 4:00 pm. For those who can come and help volunteer, we need you and can use you for however long you can help.
Wear a CCC t-shirt to represent!

Parking for CCC and Aiken Family Y volunteers and staff will be at the Convocation Center, grass field next to Pacer Path, and you will be shuttled over on a YMCA bus to the new building.

Sunday, January 15, 7:00 am, meet at the new building for some final setup of worship environments and preparation for our service at 11:00 am.

· This week will be a “Family Style” worship service with all ages gathering in the adult worship space (gym) for a celebration!

· Kidz 4 years old and under will have a space to hang out and play during the service.

· After the service we will eat lunch together (courtesy of the Aiken Family Y and Domino’s) and tour the building. Volunteers will be gathered in their worship environments to meet and greet those who come check us out!

I cannot tell you how PUMPED I am to finally be gathering to celebrate our NEW BEGINNING and partnership with the Aiken Family Y! This is the culmination of years of planning, prayer and sacrificial giving on the part of ALL Cedar Creek Church campuses and people. It is a humbling thing to think about all that God has done, is continuing to do and will do in the days ahead. Our best days as a church are definitely AHEAD of us and hell will surely be less crowded because of what happens in this place in the weeks and months to come!

In His grip,
Wes

2011 Clean Water Offering

WOW!  Just when I think I can’t be more amazed by your generosity and heart for people in need, you do something like this.  The numbers are in from all our campuses and the total for the 2011 Christmas Eve Offering for clean water is $80,000.00.  Can you believe it?  Almost three times more than last year.  Thank you for catching the vision for Advent Conspiracy and living it out.  What an incredible blessing to be a part of a church like Cedar Creek.

I love you,

Phillip
