Student Ministry

As you look at the place where your student is right now, you might be wondering how in the world they will get to a place where they possess the needed spiritual equipment to make it.  During the teen years students mature in many ways, here are a few...
  • Students physically mature before they are ready to deal with an adult body.
  • Students emotionally teeter between being a small child who wants you around and an adult who wants total freedom.
  • Students mentally mature from being able to only think concrete concepts to being able to process abstract and complex thought.
  • Students spiritually mature from accepting what their parents have given to them to exploring and believing in what they choose to believe.

Here at Cedar Creek Church the student ministry is here to serve you and your students.  We offer the following for students in 6th –12th grades…

  • Centerpoint
  • Family Groups
  • Student Servant Leadership team
  • LUMAstudent

We want each student to be a part of the centerpoint student worship service on Sunday morning.  We are aiming to offer them a creative and powerful presentation of God’s love, holiness, power and mystery that is Relational, Real, and Relevant.

We also want each student to be connected in a  Family Group with other believers and an adult Christian friend to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  We invite students to be involved in our student servant leadership team and in LUMAstudent.  All of these opportunities will help them to grow in their faith and develop their spiritual muscles.
