Kidz Creek

Kidz Creek exists to help kidz love God and love people!

Kidz Creek is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Kids, birth through fifth grade, experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a fun, creative, and relevant way.

Engaging kidz in a Sunday morning experience through large worship & small group sharing, through…

  • Relationships

We desire that each child come to experience a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We also value our children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their small group leader and other children within the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow!

  • Age Appropriateness

We are passionate about children learning about Jesus in a way they understand. Our environments and lesson materials are selected based on the physical, mental and emotional needs of each child.

  • Safety

We believe that safety is vital as families entrust us with their children each week. Therefore, every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check, and every hallway is monitored with building leaders and security personnel on each campus.

  • Creative Bible Teaching

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written!  We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

  • Fun!

Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus.

Equipping parents to be the spiritual leaders of their child…

We want to keep you connected with everything that goes on in Kidz Creek. We encourage you to regularly ask your child: “Did you have fun?”, “What did you do?”, “What did you learn?”

In order to assist you in discussion about “What’s Up?” on Sunday mornings, we have created a simple take home that lets you know what we did that Sunday from music to the “Bottom Line” for every Sunday morning. We also provide fun, simple activities or “Talk About It” questions for you to do at home with your child.

You can also follow our elementary age kidz on Twitter.com. Once or Twice a week you will receive “twits” that may include quick updates, encouragements, or reminders. Simply visit www.twitter.com and start following Kidz Creek Elem to receive these!

Empowering kidz to share Jesus in their world…

In order to empower kidz to share Jesus in their world we frequently partner with our outreach team to provide opportunities for kidz to see others through Jesus’ eyes. One way we accomplish this is through a “Global Connection” portion of our small group time that simply shows our kidz that there are kidz in different areas of the world that need to experience God’s love too. We also like to share ideas for families to reach out to others in our local community.

First Time…

Look for the area designated for first time families. If you need help locating this area, please ask any volunteer for assistance. We will be happy to meet your family, check your child into our database system, and guide you to your child’s room.

We will ask for the following personal information: family member’s names, children’s names and birthdates, family address, phone number,  and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion of your matching identification tags which bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service.  During checkout, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

Once your family is checked in, one of our volunteers will be happy to show you the age appropriate area we have created for your child. On your way home, be sure to ask your child: “Did you have fun?”, “What did you learn today?”, “What did you do?”, or simply “What’s Up?”Don’t forget to pick up your Parent Connection Card before you leave!

Returning to Kidz Creek…

As you enter Kidz Creek, your first stop should be to visit one of our Checkpoint kiosks where a friendly volunteer will check your child in for the service you are attending. Our checkpoint kiosks open 30 minutes prior to the start of each service. Checkpoint kiosk volunteers will need the last four digits of your phone number or your child’s full name in order for us to locate your family in our database system.

You will receive a set of tags with a family identification number for you and for your child.  Your child will wear the tag with his or her name.  Please hold on to your portion of the tag until checkout at the end of the service. You will need it to check your child out of our ministry. No child is released unless the matching identification tag is presented.

If for some reason you were to lose your identification tag, please go directly to our Kidz Creek First Timer Check-In. Be ready to present your driver’s license for identity verification in order to receive a duplicate identification tag.

Please be sure to ask any of our amazing volunteers or staff if you have questions about our values, policies or procedures. Thanks for checking out Kidz Creek!
