The heart of the G.R.A.C.E. Kidz ministry is to help children with special needs, and their families, experience love, acceptance, encouragement and support to participate as fully as possible in the activities of Cedar Creek Church.
Trained volunteer “shadows” are paired with children to provide assistance to meet each child’s unique needs during worship, classroom and any special activities of the Children’s Ministry. Our goal is to allow children the chance to learn and grow in a supportive environment as they experience the love of Jesus while also providing peace of mind for parents so that they may focus on participating in their own worship experience.
Shadows generally accompany children to their age appropriate activities and facilitate their participation. G.R.A.C.E. Kidz also has a specially equipped classroom for those children that may require more direct one on one attention.
A G.R.A.C.E. Kidz Team Leader is available during each service to welcome new families and to make sure that G.R.A.C.E. Kidz needs are met.
