Family of Heroes Military Ministry
Family of Heroes is a military ministry to provide love, support, prayers, and fellowship for families with loved ones who are deployed. Our focus is to provide support for these families through monthly contacts, special events, and recognition for those who return from duty. We wish to extend our care to the immediate and extended families of those deployed. Those of us involved in this ministry have experience dealing with the loneliness and uncertainty during the time of a loved one's deployment.
We plan quarterly meetings that will include planning for upcoming events, updates on deployed soldiers and their families, fellowship, and prayer time. We also have plans for special events for the children of deployed soldiers/members as well as kits for children to help them understand deployment.
Our goal is to not only reach out to all military personnel and families within our church, but also within the community. We understand that not all military families have the support of family, friends, or even a church family to find comfort. Instead of going through this time alone, our wish is to be there for each and every one of them in their time of need.
If you are interested in volunteering or know someone in need, please do not hesitate to contact us or visit our Family of Heroes kiosk every Sunday morning in the main entrance to the Worship Center.
