WHEN ARE THE BAPTISM SERVICES?

Baptism services are in the evening on Palm Sunday, and the Sunday before Thanksgiving, as well as selected Sunday evenings at the lake during the summer.  HOME groups also have baptisms at various times of the year.  Plan to arrive 30 minutes before the baptism service.

WHAT DO I WEAR WHEN I AM BAPTIZED?

Women should wear a swimsuit underneath a shirt with either shorts or pants. Men should wear a T-shirt with a swimsuit, shorts, or pants.  Come dressed to be baptized.  A changing area will be available.  Bring a towel, and a change of clothes with you.

DO I HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING WHEN I AM BAPTIZED?

Only if you want to. You will have the opportunity, but you do not have to say anything.

WHO WILL BAPTIZE ME?

You may invite someone who influenced you to follow Christ, or who has helped you grow in your relationship to Christ, to baptize you at the baptism service. The Cedar Creek pastors will also be available to baptize you.
