First Steps is a class designed for kids and their parents to explore faith together in a simple, meaningful way. Through hands-on activities, guided conversations, and easy-to-understand teaching, your child will learn what it means to have a relationship with Jesus and what baptism is all about.
This isn’t just for kids—it’s for you too. We want to equip you with the words, confidence, and tools to keep these conversations going at home.
We encourage every child to attend First Steps with a parent or caring adult. It’s a special opportunity to slow down, ask questions, and grow together.

 We’re already over 80% full, and we don’t want your kids to miss out on a week of faith, fun, friendships, and big God moments. Camp Kidjam is a highlight of the summer—a place where kids build memories, grow in their faith, and experience Jesus in fresh and exciting ways. Spaces are limited, so now is the perfect time to register and save your spot before it fills up! We can’t wait for an unforgettable week together this summer! Details: Who Can Go? Kids currently in 2nd–5th grade Where? Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina When? June 22–25, 2026 How Much? $400 per person $75 non-refundable deposit required to register Payment Plans & Scholarships: We never want money to be the reason a child misses out! When registering, you can pay the entire amount in full or choose to make payments. If you pay the deposit of $75 in March then you would need to pay approximately $110 in April, May, and June !
