Women's Groups

Groups Begin March 15th

Women’s Groups are a dedicated space for women to connect, build meaningful relationships, and grow together in their faith. Each group runs for five weeks and features a different study, making it easy to jump in during any season of life.

This spring, we’re excited to unpack Social Media Reset—a five-week study focused on unplugging from technology and life’s constant distractions so we can rediscover the joy of being present and more aware of God’s goodness and grace. Whether you’re new to groups or have been part of one before, this is a great opportunity to pause, refocus, and grow alongside other women.

Groups in the Gray

Gone are the days when simple issues could be easily dismissed with a 30-minute sermon. Our lives have become intertwined with complexities that demand certainty. We yearn for confidence but often find ourselves unsure of where to begin, especially when it comes to understanding the Bible.

Our faith does not exist solely within the confines of a church building. It affects our relationships with family, our interactions with co-workers, and even how we raise our children. The world around us has turned gray, and we wonder how to navigate these uncertain areas using the black-and-white teachings of scripture.

Rather than asking how we can confidently apply scripture to the gray areas of our lives, let’s reframe the question: How can we learn together to understand the black-and-white of scripture and effectively apply it to our lives? That’s where Groups in the Gray comes in.

In this 4-week Group, each week begins with a large group teaching. After the large group session, we’ll move into smaller groups for discussion and encouragement alongside others on the same journey.

Dinner is provided. Childcare is also provided for a minimal fee.

Cancer Support Group

Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday
Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday

Four out of every ten people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime. This staggering statistic means that cancer touches all of us, either directly or indirectly. We understand the profound impact this disease can have on your life and we want to create a supportive community where you can connect, grieve, pray, and find hope, regardless of your cancer journey.

Charlie Taylor and Gus Simmons, Cedar Creek members and volunteers, share your desire for a place of comfort and understanding. Charlie and Gus, who have both faced a cancer diagnosis, will facilitate this group. We invite you to join us on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. for a gathering focused on finding hope in Jesus amidst the challenges of cancer.

There is no cost to attend these meetings.

GriefShare

Sunday Afternoons, January 11th - April 12th
Sunday Afternoons, January 11th - April 12th

Please know that we lift you up over your loss and we share your sorrow. If you are like most you will find comfort in our GriefShare group. We have offered this group continuously for over a decade.

You may be feeling uncertain about joining a grief group. This is not unusual at all. Most of our members tell us they were hesitant about joining a group, but the reluctance fades quickly and is replaced by the strength and comfort found in being with others who can relate.

Sundays 3:00 – 4:30pm, January 11th – April 12th

Cost of materials is $30.

DivorceCare

Thursday Evenings, August 21 - December 4, 2025
Thursday Evenings, August 21 - December 4, 2025

You may find yourself facing the possibility of an outcome you never foresaw. You may believe as we do that marriage is an institution ordained by God and none of us desire that any marriage should fail.

Unfortunately, they do. Marriages are made of imperfect human beings and are subject to the effects of those flaws.

For those of us who find ourselves on this path, there is DivorceCare®, a peer group of men and women somewhere along the journey between separation and post-divorce. Everyone associated with this group has been through a divorce or believes they are on their way.

Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., January 15th – April 16th, 2026.

Cost of Materials: $30

HOME Groups

Looking for long-term authentic community?
Looking for long-term authentic community?

If so, consider a HOME Group instead of a Life Group. How do they differ?

HOME groups are core to who we are. They are the primary means by which we, as a church, take the next steps in our collective and individual journeys back to God. In HOME group is where we find care, connection, encouragement, and prompting to never stop seeking our next step.

Where Life Groups are for a specific time frame, often studying a particular topic or need, HOME groups are indefinite and more closely resemble a Bible Study Group, often digging deeper into the Sunday morning message.

A typical group meeting is 90 minutes. They involve spending time together, sharing a meal, unpacking God’s word, and praying. Don’t panic! You don’t need to know all the answers or how to do those things to get plugged in.
