Remember Who You Are

Part 1

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1 (NIV)

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

1) We are Jesus centered.

“…on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Matthew 16:18 (NIV)

2) We are outwardly focused.

“Therefore GO and make disciples of ALL NATIONS…” Matthew 28:19a

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden… In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14, 16 (NIV)

3) We are authentically connected.

“All the believers were together and had everything in common.” Acts 2:44 (NIV)

“Love must be SINCERE. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be DEVOTED to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:9-10 (NIV)
