About Will

With a heart for serving others and a passion for helping young minds grow, Will has truly made a difference in the lives of many. As a HOME Group Leader for 11 years, he has been a source of guidance and support, nurturing a sense of belonging and fostering a strong sense of community.

But that’s not all! Will has also been a remarkable Kidz Creek Small Group Leader, working with 2nd and 3rd graders for 6 years. Through his care and mentorship, he has helped shape the spiritual growth of our Kidz, planting seeds of faith that will last a lifetime.

In addition to his involvement with the younger generation, Will has dedicated three years as a Centerpoint Small Group Leader, specifically working with middle school boys. By providing guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear, he has been instrumental in helping these young boys navigate the challenges of adolescence.

Outside of his role within the church, Will has been a Software Engineer at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions for 10 years. His expertise in this field has made a significant impact, and his commitment to excellence is commendable.

Will recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Limestone University in 2022. His thirst for knowledge and personal growth continues as he pursues a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Liberty University’s School of Divinity.

Will’s family is a significant source of strength and support. Will has been happily married to his spouse, Sarah, for 21 incredible years. Together, they have raised three beautiful children: Reese, who is now 19 years old; Eli, who is 17 years old; and Wyatt, their youngest at 13 years old. Their family bond is a testament to their commitment to love, cherish, and nurture one another.

Will has been entrusted with a special responsibility: leading Centerpoint Students through a time of transition until a new Centerpoint Director is hired. The senior leadership team at Cedar Creek Church has recognized his dedication and trustworthiness, and Will is truly honored to take on this role. He looks forward to building even stronger relationships with the students and guiding them on their journey to build a meaningful connection with Jesus.
